AN INTRODUCTION TO MODIFIED RACING
Modifieds are the oldest division of race cars in the history of NASCAR. Cars eligible for NASCAR Modified Series are 1983-2005 American-made, steel bodied production passenger sedans. Low slung and fender-free, cars must maintain a minimum wheelbase of 107 inches and a weight of 2,610 pounds. The average engine displacement is 364 cubic inches and the compression ratio is limited to 12:1.
Branich Motorsports is proud to be involved in auto racing, the number one spectator sport in the United States based upon paid admissions. We look forward to the 2006 Sunoco Race of Champions Tour, and our participation in the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series at Spencer Speedway in Williamson, New York. We hope you can join us in person. |
